Following a Bachelors Degree at London College of Fashion in Fashion Design for Knitwear, Lucas Nascimento worked as a freelance consultant for a variety of clients including Ellus Brazil, Basso & Brooke, Ghetz and Ports 1961 before setting up his own label in 2009.
After a succession of shows at Rio Fashion Week, the label exhibited its Spring/Summer 2012 collection as part of London Fashion Week for the first time in September 2011.
Collections have featured in Vogue UK & Brasil, ELLE, Dazed Digital, 125 Magazine and Another, amongst others.
In December 2011 Lucas was awarded support from the NEWGEN sponsorship scheme and will present his Autumn/Winter 2012 collection during London Fashion Week in February 2012.
